Milk Drop

Milk Drop harkens back to the days when dairy was a vibrant agricultural industry in Giles County and Main Street Pulaski celebrated Dairy Month each June with its annual Dairy Festival. Among the events, and possibly the favorite, was the Milk Drop. Teams of two participate in the event, with one team member standing on the Giles County Courthouse balcony with a half-gallon of milk, trying to pour the milk into an empty half-gallon container on top of their teammate's head below. The team with that catches the most milk wins, but it's the folks who get to watch the spectacle who are the real winners. Milk Drop revives the spirit of Giles County's dairy legacy, uniting communities in laughter and camaraderie while honoring tradition at Historic Downtown Pulaski’s SunDrop Festival.
